Ricky J. Parisian Scholarship Recipients

Every year in May, the Ricky J. Parisian Memorial Scholarship Foundation presents a scholarship to an Oneonta High School graduating senior. The award follows the student through four years of college provided the student continues to meet scholarship criteria and acceptable performance in her or his educational program.

Welcome Keith Kite– 2017 Recipient!

Keith, as with all recipients, was selected as the recipient of the Ricky J. Parisian Scholarship in recognition for demonstrating respect, integrity, honesty, & responsibility.

While at OHS, Keith became a silent stronghold for his classmates. Often described as someone who simply does the right thing, “he would speak up for the kid who could not do it for him/herself”.

Keith’s impact was additionally notable as he was new to the district during his high school years. He immersed himself in our school community. He played football, has been in most every play and musical performed since his arrival, is a member of the Rainbow Connection Club, the Blue and Gold Guild, and a host of other clubs.

The Parisian Foundation wishes Keith all the best and looks forward to supporting him through his college years!!
